The Congolese singer is already in the country and set to perform tomorrow at Kampala Serena hotel.
Upon his arrival yesterday, Awilo received a fine treat from Cents Events team (Concert organizers).
The African legendary singer of course couldn’t also escape the crazy and aggressive Ugandan media as they juggled him with different questions as their routine to guest artists.
When he was asked about his Ugandan collabo plan, the ‘Coupe Bibamba’ singer quickly revealed his intentions to collaborate with Jose Chameleone and Eddy Kenzo. He also exclusively mentioned songstress Cindy Sanyu among all Ugandan female artists.
“I expect many collabos in Uganda especially with Kenzo and Jose Chameleone. I know Cindy too, she is such outstanding among the female,” he said.
The singer also said Ugandan music has such a huge coverage worldwide and no artist from any other country wouldn’t rush to hit studio with a Ugandan talent.
Awilo is expected to kick-off with his rehearsals today.
