It’s likely not to cease sooner as often for songstress Cindy Sanyu after her chance to have a historic performance at Congolese singer Awilo Longomba’s Serena Hotel Concert went begging.
The self-proclaimed ‘The king-herself’ immediately stormed to her social media and decried the concert organizers ‘Cents Events’ for cancelling her performance at the last minutes.
“So my performance at the Awilo longomber concert was canceled on the last minute. I apologize for this. It would have really been great. I mean look at this outfit. Anyways lets enjoy Awilo and I will see y’all at Rumor bar and lounge im bukoto,” she stated on her social media.
After learning about her (Cindy) post, Cents events was forced to stamp Cindy’s controversy by opening up to the public clarifying on this saga via their social media.
According to Cents Events, Cindy’s performance was not cancelled but contrary to the agreement they had with the artist and the stipulated program of the concert, the artist arrived 40minutes late.
In addition, their efforts to reach her and managers were all in vain as all their contacts were unreachable.
They further revealed how Cindy had also earlier distanced herself from the concert rehearsals.
However, they apologized to Cindy’s management and fans for the incident as they looked forward to settling the matter with together with her team.
Cents Events was solely responsible for jetting-in the African and Congolese music legendary in Uganda.
