Following the recent news story on Bukedde TV about the pitiful plight of Mr. Siraje Kasirye (Bosco), the renowned champion of MTN Uganda Mobile Money product “MoMo Pay,” the telecommunication company has finally risen up to offer a golden hand in his life.
According to MTN Uganda’s Corporate Communications Manager ‘Mr. Val Okecho’, the video making rounds on social media shouldn’t construe MTN Uganda as a brand that doesn’t honor its contractual obligations or otherwise.
They value all our supplier relationships & strive to uphold all applicable business practices. Therefore, they will reach out to Bosco to offer support.
“The video making rounds on social media shouldn’t construe MTN UG as a brand that doesn’t honor its contractual obligations or otherwise. We value all our supplier relationships & strive to uphold all applicable business practices. We’ll reach out to Bosco to offer support,” tweeted Val Okecho.
This is the company’s reverse thought after it earlier refrained from offering any kind of help basing on its contract with the star last year.
“Having watched the news story on Bukedde Tv about the pitiful plight of Bosco, the renowned champion of MTN UG MobileMoney product MoMoPay, we cannot all help but empathize with his situation,” Val Okecho first tweet.
This was followed by a second tweet permitting Bosco to seek the company through the right channels in order to redress sought if there was any.
“Contrary to word going around, I can confirm that MTN UG fully honoured its contractual obligations to Mr. Siraje Kasirye thru the agency that represents him. I wouldn’t hesitate to add that the model is fully aware of the right channels through which redress can be sought-if any,” Val Okecho’s second tweet.
We will keep you posted.
