Top Ugandan artists, John Blaq, Fille Mutoni, Geosteady Naira Ali, Kenneth Mugabi, among others are currently nursing one of the most painful heartbreaks after their highly anticipated flight to the United States being ruined.
The above have been denied visas to the US for the upcoming Uganda North Atlantic Association Convention slated for 29th August – 1st September at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Chicago, USA.
We are yet to establish the cause of such a disappointment for the Ugandan music icons though inside sources claim a serious misunderstanding between UNAA organizers and the promoters in charge of negotiating fees with the artists to perform at the event.
However, the artists are believed to have appealed to the USA embassy and expecting feedbacks in 3-4 weeks’ time.
It has often been a bed of roses for most Ugandan celebrities to participate in the convention every year as it registered the highest number of attendances last year than never before.
