Ugandan top music label ‘Swangz Avenue’ has today morning apologized to the management and parents of St. Mary’s College Kisubi over its singer Winnie Nwagi’s inappropriate performance at the school last week.
Swangz displays its deep regret for Nwagi’s improper performances for the schoolboys during their kadanke on 13th July.
It has also confirmed its serious investigation regarding the incident and promises measures to be put in place to avoid a repeat of the same.
The management also concedes error in judgment with its artist acknowledging the pain and mistrust caused by this incident.
“We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th. We have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same.
This was a huge error in judgment and both the Artist and the management team acknowledge the pain and mistrust caused by this incident. We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school Administration,” stated Swangz Avenue on its social media.
It should be noted that the ‘Yitayo’ singer has often been reported under countless disciplinary actions by her management for her endless misconduct since December 2017 up to date.
Swangz Avenue management has notably rejected of promoting her music at the same pace as it is done for singer Vinka.
Swangz is currently headed by Mr. Julius Kyazze and legendary singer Benon Mugumbya.
