By Muwanga Deo: Last night, while Record TV hosted Gagamel boss and wire wire musician Bebe-cool, Fans lashed out and blasted the artist over a number of reasons.
Bebe-cool while discussing various issues ranging from the South African Xenophobia violence to the political situation in Uganda,said that what ever torturer in inflicted on people during police confrontation is done because people are not compliant with police orders when it comes to calming people down. “how do you expect police to handle you well when you don’t abide by what they tell you during a protest? do you want them to kneel down and pray to God so that you enter the car”
These comments sparked off a storm of comments from Record TV fans abusing the artist some judging his sense of reasoning. “Moderator, u caused the problem when u planned to host this engalabi. Mbu ‘that boy’ Imagine. How do u call pp spokesperson a boy”? one of the fans lashed out after Bebe cool saying that he stopped watching NTV because Joel Ssenyoni’s reporting was biased.
“Deputy ofwono.opondo ” a TV fan commented “But let me ask why do u bring this guy to the platform,,,,let me him talk about music not politics” “Why do you kip on inviting that fool…….. He can’t reason….. Agende ayimbe”. were some of the comments thrown to the artist.
however Bebe-cool called out to Political party leaders to stop missleading the youth.
With the political question between the NRM and People Power, this may go a long way up to the 2021 elections.
