By Muwanga Deo: Bebe cool, a strong NRM supporter and musician has condemned the opposition leaders from using youth to achieve their political ambitions at a cost of youths’ lives yet the same leaders are paid by Government monthly.
Bebe cool said that the opposition is free to disagree with the government as long as they do so without hurting the youth. “Don’t set youth in situations which they are going to loose lives ok?. you people who are working in opposition are earning money from the Government. these people are being paid every month ok? the money comes from government but then you turn around and you go tell people to shun government”. said bebe cool in an interview.
when asked why people are bundled on police pickups in an inhumane way, Bebe cool says that not all people are treated in the same manner as long as they complied with police instructions. he gave an example of Amama Mbabazi’s arrest when going to Mbale saying he was handled well because he complied and also respected police.
The musician said this while in an interview at a TV station in Kampala yesterday night while discussing the political question in Uganda between political parties.
