Mowzey Radio’s Family Still Demands Justice, After Court Sentencing Troy Wamala to 14 Years In Prison.

Following a series of court sessions, in a bid to serve justice to the late Mowzey Radio’s family, Justice Jane Abodo of the Entebbe High Court has on Thursday 31st Cotober sentenced Godfrey Troy Wamala to a 14 years imprisonment for killing celebrated vocalist Mowzey Radio.

It must be noted that the former bouncer at the Entebbe road based night hang out spot was convicted of manslaughter over his involvement in the death of singer Moses Sekibogo who was popularly known as Mowzey Radio.

Though he was not found guilty of murder given the fact that the prosecution side couldn’t avail the substantial evidence to pin the later, this has not saved Troy Wamala from being sent to prison for 14 years, three months and four days.

Troy will however spend 13 years in Kigo prison given the fact that he has already served one year, eight months and 26 days in Kigo Prison though the defendant still has a constitutional right of appealing if he’s not satisfied with the judiciary’s decision.

However Mowzey Radio’s family wasn’t satisfied at all with the court ruling, as they feel like the punishment is too lenient to the culprit, that the deceased hasn’t gotten the justice he deserves.
