Website writer; Yesterday night sorrow buffered People Power supporters worldwide as one of their chronic member, Dan Kyeyune was shot dead by the Local Defense Unit.
Mr. Kyeyune’s fateful evening was in Nansana, Wakiso where Kyadondo East MP, Bobi Wine passed-by as he returned from burial of another staunch People Power supporter, Ritah Nabukenya who was knocked down by a speeding Police patrol on Monday.
This website has also learnt that more 3 people sustained serious injuries when the LDU officers showered bullets into the crowd.
People Power head, Bobi Wine has expressed his grievances on this incident.
“What a country! What a time! This evening as we returned from the burial of Ritah Nabukenya who was murdered by police yesterday, police & LDU shot at the crowd of people who were waving at me. Dan Kyeyune died on spot, others sustained severe injuries. It is totally dark here,” stated Bobi Wine.
On a sad note; it’s just nine months ever since Mr. Kyeyune’s was introduced by lover Betty at her parents’ home in a glamorous ceremony.
