By Wycliff G; Fabled Ugandan Disc Jokey Nabeeta Nimrod aka DJ Nimrod’s survived spending a night under custody at Katwe Police Station after his arrest on Wednesday.
Galaxy FM’s radio presenter landed on Police handcuffs after being found giving out food items to a crowd of fellow DJs’ gathered in Makindye-Kampala, an act which defies the Presidential set guidelines of combatting COVID-19.
However, the bald-headed DJ was later granted Police bond with help of his boss Innocent Nahabwe and events organizer Balaam Barugahara.
“Hallo guys, was intercepted by Military Police with my colleague Shafik at 11am and taken to Katwe Police station. Thanks to Mr. Balaam Barugahara and Innocent Nahabwe I was released on Police bond. Thanks for the love,” stated Nimrod.
This website has learnt that Nimrod’s prosecution file is underway to convict him in court for the “attempted murder” case.
