By Wycliff G; Ugandan music icon Eddy Kenzo continues to battle with life in Abijan, Cote d’Ivoire where he got stuck after his home country announced a total lockdown to combat Corona Virus Pandemic, 43 days ago.
The BET award winner has hit social media on Tuesday morning and revealed how he is getting over the miserable life in Ivory Coast and now subsisting to make it his new home.
Kenzo also says that he is not mindful about the lockdown end in Uganda since he is now comfortably managing the West African culture and living a happy life.
“Life bwekuwa lemon okola lemonade Nasalowo kwerabira nti siriwaka ekyo nakivako era kati Abidjan is my home. Oba locked down elikoma oba neda I don’t mind nze kati ndi weno Ivory coast I got used and I think you can see my pictures I look more relaxed now and I’m happy to be here,” wrote Eddy Kenzo.
The ‘Semyekozo’ singer had earlier pleaded to the government to permit his airlifting after fear of contracting COVID-19 in Cote d’Ivoire, which is one of the worst hit Africa states.
