By Website writer; National Unity Platform (NUP) members, Buken Ali (Nubian Li), Ssebufu Edward (Eddie Mutwe), Oyerwot Daniel (Sir Dan Magic) have today been arraigned before the General Court Martial, Makindye and charged with illegal possession of ammunition.
According to the charge sheet from the General Court Martial Holden at Makindye released by NUP President, Bobi Wine, the three and 46 others are aligned to criminal case No. UPDF /GCM/001/2021.
They are subject to Military Law by virtue section 119 (1) (h) (i) of the UPDF Act 2005.
Statement of offense; Unlawful possession of ammunition C/S 3 () and 2 () of the Firearms Act Cap 299.
It’s further states that they are found in unlawful possession of four (04) rounds of ammunition of AK47. The said ammunition being ordinary a property of the Defense Forces.
Apparently, Bobi Wine says that the party lawyers and family members of the charged were all denied access to the court and the it processed without anyone present hence convicting them them.
