Geosteady dumped the ‘George’ name and attained an Islamic name ‘Hassan’.
Fellow singer at the same time former boss, Eddy Kenzo who is a Moslem spearheaded his faith transformation.
The Islamic religious ceremony dubbed ‘Shahadah’ welcoming Geosteady was performed by top Muslim officials at one of the mosques around Kampala city.
In a local TV interview, Geosteady said his father was a Moslem by religion but he converted because he was marrying a Christian woman.
2020 was a such a miserable year for Geosteady as his 10year-old relationship with fiancée Prima Kardashi ended.
