By Website Writer; Uganda President H.E YK Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni on Thursday gifted former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper, Denis Masinde Onyango with a brand-new luxurious ride.
President Museveni and wife who also dubs as the Minister of Education & Sports Janet Museveni’s reward of a brand-new Pajero Sport to Onyango was to appreciate him for his glorious career with the National football team and Club football representing Uganda.
Denis Onyango was accompanied by his mother, Musoke Olivia Onyango at a glamorous dinner held at Statehouse, Entebbe.
The food on table meeting also saw representatives from the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) comply with the invite from the head of state.
These were led by FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo and Edgar Watson.
Last month, Mr. Onyango announced he had retired from international football after 16 years of diligent service to the national team.
