By Website Writer; Makindye General Court Martial has sent back Robert Kaygulanyi’s singing partner, Ali Bukeni (Nubian Li) bodyguard Eddy Ssebufu aka Eddie Mutwe and music producer Sir Dan Magic to Kitalya Government Prison.
This was during the Court Martial sitting in Makindye on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
Court however granted out only 17 out of 32 National Unity Platform members that had applied for bail.
The Court-Martial led by Lt. Gen. Andrew Gutti ordered these to be released on a non-cash bail of Ugx. 20Million while their bonds going for Ugx. 50Million each.
Lt. Gen. Andrew Gutti said that the 17 were released because of their officiated health complications.
The entire NUP flock was arrested on 30th December 2020 in Kalangala district while on a campaign trail for their candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
These were paraded before the court for the first time in January 2021 and charged with unlawful possession of military firearms.
Nubian Li, Eddy Mutwe, and Dan Magic, and the rest to appear in court again on 8th June 2021.
