Amongst the ravaged property include the singers thatched gazebos which were built close to the shores of the largest lake in East Africa.

The white sand and beautiful palm trees on the beach, located in Busabala are now submerged and the paspalum grass can no longer be seen.

A video of Bobi Wine’s children recorded at the beach shows the beach’s commercial buildings and most places flooded. However, there still remains space big enough to accommodate some functions

According to environmentalists, this unfortunate occurrence was due to the heavy rains that caused a rise in water levels, and the degradation of some parts of Lake Victoria.

Bobi Wine joins the likes of tycoons Sudhir Ruparella and Hamis Kiggundu who had their multibillion buildings flooded by waters from L. Victoria, but later were able to clean up their territories.
