Onduparaka football club have issues a club statement on the events transpired in match day 13 when when they drew 2:2 with KCCA FC.
Onduparaka FC and KCCA FC match was put to a halt due to regrettable incidents of violence pertaining a contemptuous penalty decision by the referee in the 97th minute.
A part of their club statement reads, “Onduparaka FC publicly condems the violent and disdainful acts that transpired and regrets it’s impact on the game and on individuals at the game. We also extend our deepest apologies to KCCA FC that been a great partner on and off the pitch, we commit to ensure these incidences don’t reoccur in the future. We commit to re-engage our fans fans and stewards on non-violent expression of emotions and respect for the game and our opponents.”
Rashid Okocha and Mohammed Shaban scored for Onduparaka as Arafat Usama and Sadat Anaku scored the other two for KCCA FC before a 97th penalty given to KCCA FC drove the Arua side’s fans crazy and hence led to the stoppage of the match un.
