Football has had interesting stories that you won’t believe with the latest being Malmo FF player Mohamed Buya Turay who missed his wedding and instead sent his bro to represent him instead, and get married to his wife on his behalf.
Speaking to media at his new Swedish club Malmo FF, said… “We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone, But I wasn’t there because Malmö asked me to come here earlier.”
Mohamed Buya Turay has been playing for Chinese Super League outfits Hebei China Fortune but a new club in Sweden wanted him on 22nd July 2022 and with the wedding scheduled for 21st, the star had to send his brother instead to represent him.
Mohamed Buya Turay is a Sierra Leonean professional footballer born on 10th January 1995, the youngest child in his family with two children.
Turay was raised by a single mother who worked at school as a teacher and never allowed him to play football, preferring her children to focus on education instead.
For this, Turray used to secretly play football without the knowledge of her mom and always received football shoes from his friends to go to training.
His decision to send his bro to represent him at the wedding has left many wondering how this could happen and why he couldn’t postpone the function.
