Dancehall King Cinderella ‘Cindy’ Sanyu has returned to office as the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) president.
Following a lengthy period while the UMA offices are closed and services not reaching the beneficiaries after an unsuccessful election process, the King Herself and her Executive team once again resumed their duties in office as they await for the communication of the next UMA general elections.
Following the cancellation of the UMA elections a few months ago, the public has been wondering what the future plans are for the body.
During a press conference held on Wednesday, the singer confirmed her return to office to officially operate her duties amicably.
“We have work to do as an association so we can’t continue without anyone in the office,” Cindy said during the presser.
Blizz Uganda has learnt how the UMA Executive Committee led by the president officially took over full possession of UMA offices and responsibility of affairs of the association with the offices now open to members.
