Singer Bebe Cool rejects Shs. 250Million figure from government as reward for his 2010 Effendy Bar and Restaurant shootings

According to reliable sources, singer Moses Ssali alias, Bebe Cool has rejected government’s award worth Shs. 250 Million over his 2010 shootings at Effendy Bar and Restaurant.

It should be remembered on Saturday January 30th 2010 at 3:30am, Bebe Cool together with colleagues, Abbas Kabyobo (Cobra) and Allan Masengere terribly suffered gunshots at Effendys Bar (behind former Nakuamatt) Centenary park after having an argument with fellow musicians Radio and Weasel.

A Jinja Road Police station SPC ‘Alfred Acihikan’ is allegedly to have masterminded and practiced this incident which saw the team serious admitted at Nsambya Hospital. A bullet was also reported to have hit Police officer David Oluka who was immediately admitted at Mulago Hospital.

However this case was reintroduced on the court paper earlier this year and as we report to you right now, the singer has rejected a new figure worth Shs. 250 Million from the government to seal up this file for good.
